Being Green

The greenhouse effect has brought unpredictable harm and impacts to the environment and the whole climate. Human factors have increased the surface temperature of the Earth to an extent that has far exceeded the acceptability and adaptability of our planet.

We have seen that increasing numbers of natural disasters have occurred over the last few years, posing enormous threats and ordeals to people's daily life.

In this light, we share the same responsibility to contribute towards this global problem instead of continuing creating pollution that would accelerate the destruction of the Earth.
T-Dimension has committed to participating various energy conservation, waste recycling and other environmental projects for a long time. For instance, we participated in the "Hong Kong Awards for Environment Excellence" organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council in 2008 to raise our awareness of environmental issues. We have successfully achieved goals in environmental performance and were honoured to be granted the "astewise Label" and "Energywise Label".

In the meantime, we also received the title of "Caring Company" from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our ongoing efforts in community involvement.

T-Dimension believes our environment would be greatly improved if everyone contributes.

Starting from this year, T-Dimension has joined another more meaningful green project. In 2011 we have paid Carbon Neutral Ltd to plant more than a hundred trees in Australia because trees will absorb carbon dioxide through photosynthesis. In other words, this will go towards offsetting the carbon dioxide produced during the delivery process of our products. We hope that these new trees can help improve the global environment.

T-Dimension LTD. is one of the Green Supporters of Carbon Neutral LTD. Over one thousand organisations and three thousand individuals have contributed to helping restore the environment through Carbon Neutral to date resulting in the planting of around 2.8 million trees or over 2,000 hectares of land and over 130 sites. Above shows more details of the sites, listed under the year planted.

Meanwhile, our company has also committed to motivating others to take part in the protection of the Earth. We hope to involve not only our staffers but also more importantly our customers. Our goal is to accelerate the process of revegetation with your support and plan to plant 1,000 trees in the next two years.
